WHO WE ARE:

The Trusted Executive Charitable Foundation (TTECF) is registered as a charity in England & Wales (Reg. No. 1173046) and was established in May 2017.

Our aim is to support Christian charities in the UK through investment and leadership development.

The Trusted Executive Charitable Foundation aims to:

  • Build a bridge between charities and the corporate world, by demonstrating compassion and kindness;
  • Foster effective stewardship of charities through a journey of trust;
  • Develop high-trust exchanges to transform results, relationships, and reputation;
  • Heal divisions in society through giving, connecting and mentoring.

CHARITABLE OBJECTS:

The Charitable Objects of The Trusted Executive Charitable Foundation are:

“Within the UK for the public benefit, awarding grants of money, as the charity trustees think fit, to UK registered charities which have a Christian ethos for the purpose of:

  • relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, unemployment or other disadvantage;
  • advancing the education of persons under the age of 25 years in order to develop their ability, and character and so:
    • enhance their ability to engage in paid employment; or
    • promote their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development; or
    • prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.”

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The Trusted Executive Charitable Foundation seeks to support Christian charities in the UK through a combination of: i) financial investment and, ii) support with leadership development. We aim to be a bridge between private sector business and Christian charities in the UK.

Our selection criteria stem from a combination of our Charitable Objects, and our mission to build a bridge between Christian charities and the world of business and commerce.

The selection criteria for projects to be supported are:

A. UK registered charities:
B. with a clear Christian ethos; undertaking a specific project which,
C. brings relief to those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, unemployment or other disadvantage; AND / OR,
D. advances the education of persons under the age of 25 years in order to develop their ability, and character and so:

  • enhances their ability to engage in paid employment; or
  • promotes their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development; or
  • prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.

We are particularly seeking to support projects by charities which will also help to:

E. Cultivate charitable investment in people by business leaders;
F. Build a bridge between Christian charities and the corporate world, by demonstrating compassion and kindness;
G. Foster greater effectiveness in the stewardship of charities including developing high-levels of trust amongst stakeholders to transform outcomes, relationships, and reputation;
I. Heal divisions in society through giving, and by creating opportunities for connecting and mentoring.

Charities seeking support from TTECF should confirm that they are willing to work with us to build a trusted relationship including providing evidence of progress and outcomes. They should also confirm that they are willing to produce input for publicity material which will promote the work of their charity and that of TTECF.
